Our Volunteers

Research shows me that people who volunteer for various projects have their own agenda. It could be we want to support a purpose that is lofty, i.e. religious or political. We may be looking for companionship or education similar to apprenticeship. Many times people give because they want to become part of something larger than they are.
Recently, I sent out 21 letters asking these leaders and race organizers to reply with a “go to” list…folks that take their assigned responsibilities and, as parts of teams, turn out dozens of running events each month to the benefit of both charities and competitors. The list is below. I am certain there are folks that have been left off the lists, but I am very sure it wasn’t due to lack of gratitude.
