Newsletter for June 2008 Running With Scissors News item from 1984 a local 27-year old runner who was injured in the 1984 Hospital Hill Run. He was running north on Oak St, approaching Meyer Blvd, when a car driven by a confused 84-yr old man who was not from the area and was searching for the church which he was to attend, pulled onto the course from a little-used side street. He drove up behind Lewis and a group of several other runners, all of whom scattered except Lewis, who was run down from behind, and then the driver hit the accelerator instead of the brake and ran over Lewis.
